This solder research kit was specifically designed for soldering to Nitinol. It contains Flux #2 that has proven best for cleaning the Nitinol. Flux #2 is compatible with all types of solders. Both should be cleaned thoroughly after reflow.
If you are soldering for electronics, please contact us for alternative fluxes as neither Flux #2 nor Flux #3 is recommended for electronics applications.

Two tubes (3 feet each) of 0.030″ solder wire (96.5Sn/3.5Ag)
1 ounce of Flux #2
